"Immortalize" your pet in paper mache
In this two day workshop you will make two paper mache animals, cats and/or dogs, one flying and one sitting or standing. If you have a pet you would like to "immortalize", bring photos.
You will learn how to create paper mache characters step by step. Once you've made these two animals you may not be able to stop! You'll learn the basics to get you going sculpting your own animals, but you just might want to come back for more! See Kathy's website to get an idea just how wonderfully creative she is.
Kathy will have books available for reference, but for the sake of time, if you are making a dog and you do not have photos, please decide upon your breed before the class begins.
The Studio at Black Brook Gallery is spacious and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Enjoy the beautiful view and the complimentary coffee, tea and apple cake. Bring a bag lunch.
All materials are included except:
Acrylic paints and brushes
Needle nose pliers (small, about 6 inch)
If you have special small beads for the collars, please bring them.
