Judy McLean
Watercolor
"Hi, I'm Judy McLean---I've been asked to write
something about who I am and what I'm doing.
The fact of the matter is, I usually know who I am but rarely know what I'm doing.Having lived in Goffstown for 51 years and being retired, what mostly occupies me is ushering my two small dogs [separately] out, then in, then out etc.
In between these excursions, I paint watercolors and acrylics and am member of East Colony Fine Art in Manchester, a requirement of which is that one day a month is spent gallery sitting." Stop by and visit this gallery sometime!

Oil & Fiber
I live on a hilltop on the north side of town with my husband, sculptor Dennis Rechcygl and our cat, Miss Kitty. I enjoy painting animals and up to a few years ago also enjoyed raising them. At one time we had a pretty good size herd of sheep, goats, donkeys.
These days we are able to escape to Florida for
awhile in the winter and enjoy hangin’ out at home or camping around New England the rest of the year.

Mixed Media
Still slinging papers at 4 in the morning to support my art habit. Finding time to squeeze in a bit of writing. and working with new media. Looking forward to the spring to really get out and create new stuff.
Currently working on my new art website: copperheadgallery.com... not just about me and my art, but hopefully a place to exchange links with other artists and feature and expose works of other artists unable to finance their own website.

Photography
Like so many of us I find it hard to find the time to do even a fraction of the things I want to do. In addition to my day job and my digital photographic art I do manage to indulge in several other interests and projects that keep my plate overflowing.
Right now, as a family project, I am putting the finishing touches on an iPhoto book of my father’s photographs from the Second World War era.
On Thursday evenings I take a recreational art class at E.W. Poore’s. I often look at it as “art as therapy.” With the time that’s left over I sing in the Brookside Congregational Church Choir, do volunteer work supporting a variety of websites for non-profits including the Manchester Artists Association all while trying to have an active social life.
This summer I hope to get the kayak back out on some of Northern New England’s lakes when I am not hiking with the camera in the White Mountains or exploring the Maine coast.
Of course, in the midst of all this, I am always looking to use my camera to capture a bit of the beauty that surrounds us every day, be it in a Suezmax Tanker docked in Portland Harbor, the waiting room of a railroad station, a flower at my feet or the
eyes of an angel.

Photography
I create fine art photography in various categories ranging from nature to architecture. I look for
beauty in the details we rarely stop to see in our everyday world.
Currently I am working for a company that keeps me very busy attending photography conventions throughout New England.
My passions are photography, kayaking and passing the time year-round on Glen Lake with my grandchildren.

Raven Sky
Painting & Collage
I am a contemporary artist who creates oil paintings and mixed media collages at my studio in Candia, NH.
I am currently working on custom collages for special occasions. Lately, I have been enjoying taking vintage jewelry apart and combining it with newer beads to create unique jewelry.
Along with my boyfriend, Wayne, I also enjoy bird watching, working out at the Gym and watching reruns of NCIS and CSI – New York while waitiing
for spring to arrive.
